The Nacra 17 Sloop rigged catamaran is another innovation to the Nacra range. Sailors are demanding a catamaran for the lighter couple, weighing at 110 to 130 kgs who want to sail a fast three sail catamaran.

The F17 Sloop fits into the new “104” handicap range and is the leader in that fleet just as the bigger Infusion has in her. The F17 Sloop adds a jib to the complete sail power, high pointing even quicker tacking, double trapezing when the breeze allows gets you upwind… .fast!!

The Harken jib blocks are mounted on the front beam so you have a spacious trampoline, far larger that other boats in her range, and with tensioning from sides and back, the firm platform helps to keep the F17 Sloop even stiffer, and gives as dry a ride as can be expected from this thoroughbred catamaran.

Finally launch the spinnaker and then you realise what can be done, you will think that you are sailing a boat much bigger than the 17. She is easy to right after a capsize, she has all the grace that you would expect from a Nacra catamaran. The F17 Sloop offer truly versatility for the whole family.
